Since 2001, The Kite Crew has provided over 2000 organisations around Australia with kite kits. Our range of Products includes exciting kite creation kits — and more! The Kite Crew’s kit activities are easy to complete, yet still offer a challenge and creative outlet. You can be confident that your children, students, or campers will be happy and proud of their completed projects.
Our Awesome Crew
Trina, the proprietor since 2008, has a Bachelor of Business Management, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Middle Years Education and a Graduate Certificate in Early Years education. Her goal with The Kite Crew is to provide quality, educational products for a variety of venues, including vacation care and classroom use.
Trina is fortunate to work with a fabulous Crew, who hum and whistle cheerfully while they bundle struts, cut cane hoops, count tails, lick envelopes, test samples and pack your Orders.
Charity & Donations
We support our favourite children’s charities are Camp Quality, Heart Throb and Tibetan Village Project with donations of our products.
We also donated kites through the Girl Guides and Country Women’s Association to areas affected by the Victorian bushfires in 2009, and the Queensland floods and Cyclone Yasi in 2011.

Schools & Education
An easy way to capture a child’s imagination is to tap into their creative mind and imagination.
Many children who might normally fidget away during a science lesson may benefit from a hands-on kite experiment — adding a big dash of fun to a wind-themed lesson.
Once the project is completed, as fun as that is, the real excitement kicks in. Many children now spend a lot of time sitting, glued to phones or televisions. Flying kites helps them to get up and move while still having fun!
